You’ve heard the word that so many are using these days…pivot. It’s necessary to be flexible in these uncertain times, and to find new and creative ways to raise funds. And that’s exactly what Joshua’s House is doing!

Since we cannot hold our Sip, Savor, and Sway Gala in 2020 as we had planned, we’ve completely pivoted and created a new event that we hope you will join us in. Introducing the “Be a Hero for the Homeless” Virtual 5k Walk/Run.

Be a Hero for the Homeless 5k

Woman RunningWe are so looking forward to this! Set for Saturday, October 17th, runners or walkers can actually do it whenever they choose. The only rule on timing is that your run or walk must happen after you’ve registered and before the end of day on October 17. You’ll submit your time, (link above), and it really couldn’t be easier.

All registrants will receive a t-shirt and a medal (disbursement dates TBA). Families can run or walk together, and we encourage friends, extended families, and coworkers to challenge each other. The best part is that all proceeds go to Joshua’s House Hospice for the terminally ill. Our goal is $100,000 which will be an incredible help to offset the nearly $800,000 we still need to break ground on construction.

COVID-19 has definitely impacted the Joshua’s House project but it will NOT defeat us. We will do whatever necessary to keep moving forward. Will you please help?

Swag will be available for either pickup late September/early October, (date TBA), or shipped directly to you.

3) And Go!
