RSVP Choir Singers

Four “Reconciliation Singers Voices of Peace” (RSVP) concerts were performed in May and all proceeds went to Joshua’s House Hospice. The RSVP artistic director, Jennifer Reason, shared that the events raised more money than they have ever raised for other charities — a total of $14,340! The series, “Sing Me to Heaven,” were offered at Journey Church in Folsom, Congregation Beth Shalom in Carmichael, Westminster Presbyterian Church in Sacramento and Pleasant Grove Community Church in Roseville. Founded in 2000 by former artistic director Julie Adams, RSVP’s mission is to create joyful music to build a better world. Audiences at all four events were moved by the story of Joshua’s House Hospice and by the inspiring music. RSVP will also perform at the “Sip, Savor and Sway” gala to benefit Joshua’s House Hospice on Saturday, December 7 at the Sacramento Masonic Temple (see www.joshuashousehospice.org for sponsorships and tickets.)
